Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) is any violence, coercion, or discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation. Media and radio play a key role by raising awareness, educating communities on consent and healthy relationships, and providing platforms for survivors to share experiences. Coordinated efforts combining education, advocacy, legal reforms, and survivor support are essential to combat SGBV effectively.
