Improving the Socio-Economic Living Conditions of Cooperative Amaliza y’Ubuliza Members through Coffee Planting and Small Livestock Rearing in Rulindo District
The project “Improving the Socio-Economic Living Conditions of Cooperative Amaliza y’Ubuliza Members through Coffee Planting and Small Livestock Rearing in Rulindo District” was made possible through the generous financial support of the Melania Foundation. Réseau Culturel Sangwa expresses its deep appreciation to the Melania Foundation for its commitment to women’s economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods in Rwanda.
The project primarily aimed to increase women’s income and improve their socio-economic living conditions. It also contributed to improving the quality and quantity of coffee production, strengthening solidarity and cooperation among cooperative members, and enhancing beneficiaries’ knowledge and skills in modern livestock rearing, financial management, and environmental protection.
Thanks to the support of the Melania Foundation, women members of the Amaliza y’Ubuliza Cooperative are now better equipped to develop sustainable income-generating activities, strengthen household resilience, and contribute to local economic development in Rulindo District.
This project reflects the shared commitment of Reseau Culturel Sangwa and the Melania Foundation to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and community-driven development.
