Capacity building of women in Rubavu (Abagore bahuye n'ibiza)
Réseau Culturel Sangwa organized different sessions of capacity building program and created opportunities, which helped vulnerable families to improve their livelihoods. It sensitized and mobilized the young girls and women on promotion of associative spirit, Micro Projects and Cooperatives management, Entrepreneurship, Financial education, and then initiate groups of Voluntary Saving and Loans Activities (VSLAs).
This is an event through which Réseau Culturel Sangwa provided support to women from families which survived flood cause by Sebeya river. They were provided with 120,000 RWF to restart some of their small commercial activities. They were provided with a hoe and seeds to resume their agricultural activities.
