Supporting Women and Vulnerable Families affected by Sebeya water floods.

Réseau Culturel Sangwa  has organized multiple capacity-building sessions to help vulnerable families improve their livelihoods. These programs focus on associative spirit, micro-project and cooperative management, entrepreneurship, financial education, and the establishment of Voluntary Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).

As part of our support to families affected by flooding from the Sebeya River, Réseau Culturel Sangwa  provided women with Financial support to restart small commercial activities. Beneficiaries also received hoes and seeds to resume agricultural activities, enabling them to rebuild their livelihoods and strengthen household resilience.

Ten additional women have been supported through capacity-building sessions in Entrepreneurship, Financial Education, and Tailoring. After completing a one-year training program, each participant received a tailoring machine to help them start their own income-generating activities in tailoring. This support empowers women to become financially independent and contributes to improving their livelihoods.
